Cancer and Cardiovascular diseases – two types of ailments that are at once, frightening and intimidating. With lifestyle changes, these diseases are on the rise, causing emotional and financial distress. While emotional support can be extended by your loved ones, a comprehensive health insurance cover is needed to combat the monetary crisis.
Exide Life Insurance brings to you its unique health insurance plan for heart and cancer related conditions - Exide Life Sanjeevani.
Exide Life Sanjeevani is a fixed benefit health insurance plan designed to cover cancer and heart related conditions. It pays a fixed sum of money to the insured upon diagnosis of heart and cancer conditions. The sum paid makes sure the treatment expenses are taken care of without bearing any crunch on the family of the insured.
A Comprehensive Cover
The plan covers all the major heart and cancer conditions. The fixed sum paid depends on the severity of the condition – mild, moderate, or severe, and your previous claims filed under this policy. In case more than one covered condition is diagnosed at a time, then the claim with the higher pay-out is paid.
Double Claim Benefit
A unique feature of the policy is that claim can be filed under this policy even if you have filed a similar claim under another health insurance policy. Also, the fixed amount of benefit is paid irrespective of the actual medical expenses incurred.
Tax Benefit
The insured is eligible for tax benefit under section 80D of the Income Tax Act 1961, upon the premium paid.
Premium Funding Benefit For 5 Years Under Moderate Condition
After the first claim is admitted under the moderate condition category, the premiums for the next 5 years are waived off from the date of diagnosis, or start of treatment. The policyholder resumes payment of the premiums after the period of 5 years without incurring any arrears.
If the policy is reaching the end of its term within these 5 years, the payable premiums are waived off altogether.
